    Jenene Freer, Chief Executive Officer

    Jenene’s journey within the Flossie Media Group began over nine years ago when she launched nzgirl into the New Zealand market at age 21. In less than a decade, nzgirl established itself as the leading online women’s lifestyle destination with a string of local and international awards in its wake. With the same entrepreneurial spirit that allowed nzgirl to punch above its weight, Jenene now heads up the Flossie Media Group. It’s this drive, determination and passion that has seen Jenene recognised as an industry leader and a finalist for both the New Zealand Marketer of the Year and the international Veuve Clicquot award.     Bonnie Frankland, Commercial Director

    Bonnie is responsible for the commercial direction of the Flossie Media Group, including overseeing the advertising sales division. She returns as a second time ‘nzgirl’, after harnessing her financial nous client side in the UK where she steered an ecommerce operation through a period of high growth, resulting in an increase in revenue from £12 million to £24 million over four years.     Juliet MacKenzie, Australia Sales Manager

    Juliet MacKenzie joined Flossie Media Group in April 2009 as Australia Sales Manager, having previously spent 20 years in the Australian advertising and media world, including over 10 years in digital media. Her digital experience began at Euro RSCG in the late 90s on the FAI account and then as first employee at digital agency NetX. Juliet spent the past six and a half years with Yahoo!, holding senior roles in the sales, marketing and product sides of the business. She is extremely passionate about clever and creative use of digital media & technology and enjoys working alongside others who also like to push the boundaries of online. Email Juliet.

    Tee Twyford, Editor-in-Chief

    As Editor-in-Chief of the Flossie Media Group, Tee is charged with living and breathing the Flossie brand and directing the design of content that any self-respecting Flossie would want to read – a job she’s passionate about! She works with the editorial teams to bring together all facets of editorial across the network, harnessing research, PR and editorial strategy. Tee’s background is in media and communications and includes time at Pacific Magazines, Tourism New Zealand and the PRINZ award-winning BNZ Get Organised Auckland campaign. Email Tee.

    Eric Rowe, Network Manager

    Eric developed his versatility within the online market during his time spent in California in a range of high growth, entrepreneurially driven success stories. Just prior to Flossie he was at ACP Media and Netlink in Auckland. He started out here as the token male in the office, but now has some male company occasionally to keep him sane. Eric’s role as network manager sees him working closely with the Flossie network sites to ensure their expectations are being met and managed and to help improve all facets of performance across all the sites.     Angela provides the perfect combination of sales support and co-ordination - able to remain calm in a chaotic environment, where deadlines have to be met and senses of humour retained !! Angela is responsible for the day to day operation of the Flossie Media Group office and financial administration – allowing the team to run at a pace our competitors can’t keep up with… Email Angela.

    Vicky Morgan, Senior Campaign Manager

    Vicky heads up the campaign management arm of the Flossie Media Group’s sales team, responsible for overseeing the execution and optimisation of all campaigns across the network. A core member of the sales team, she brings with her considerable experience from her years at nzgirl, including an innate knowledge of what’s required to carry a campaign with flair and finesse within the online arena, and the initiative to see your brand succeed.     Nadia Keane, Campaign Manager

    A graduate of AUT’s Bachelor of Business, Nadia cemented her place in the Flossie Media Group as an intern who quickly graduated into the role of campaign executive. Her keen eye for detail and ability to predict patterns of success, sees her working with Vicky to deliver the best possible results for our advertisers by actively monitoring campaigns and ensuring they perform.     Alexia Mesnage joins the NZ sales team. Alexia has returned from Europe where she spent the last four years with Microsoft Digital Solutions (previously known as Atlas), one of the world’s leading advertiser and publisher digital solutions providers, and headed up NBD and Operations in France before returning home to NZ.   • Ramarea Pedersen, Channel Manager

    Ramarea Pedersen, Channel Manager - Social

    Ramarea joined the nzgirl team straight out of AUT’s Bachelor of Communication Studies. With a journalism background, Ramarea cemented her place in the Flossie Media Group early on as a stand-out intern for the nzgirl team. In her joint role as nzgirl editor and entertainment channel manager, Ramarea works across both the youth and entertainment sectors to find and create the best content, and keep both readerships actively involved and engaged.   • Shannon Slade, Channel Manager

    Shannon Slade, Channel Manager - Fashion

    Shannon comes from a strong PR and Journalism background with experience in national weekly and monthly magazines and newspapers. Armed with a degree in Communications from Waikato University she moved to Auckland for a spot in AUT’s Graduate Diploma in Journalism. From there she joined the Fairfax team, then 3 Media before taking a PR position for a boutique PR firm specialising in beauty and skincare brands. Her love of ensuring all women have only the best fashion & beauty content at their disposal at all times drew her back to her publishing roots. Email Shannon.

    Lucy Campbell, Channel Manager - Lifestyle

    As Lifestyle Channel Manager Lucy is in charge of the living, gardening, food and drink, travel, wedding and pets content on the site. Lucy has a background in print and online journalism with experience working across a number of lifestyle titles at ACP Media since graduating with a Bachelor of Communications from AUT. Lucy is passionate about the Lifestyle Channel as she gets to read and write about the content she lives and loves. Email Lucy.

    Sue McKenzie, Channel Manager - Healthy and Mama

    Sue is a northern English mum of one son, with an Australian husband. And if that isn’t enough, she is also the Parenting and Health channel manager at Flossie. In another life Sue worked in advertising and media agencies in London, until she saw the light and felt the need for a bit of a change in priorities. After signing up for a nutrition degree, Sue switched to part time, got married and had a son; then moved to New Zealand, and here she is! Email Sue.
